Our staff at Parker Kohl Funeral Home is committed to caring for the health of the families we serve along with our community regarding the impact of COVID-19. With the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issuing a statement not recommending public gatherings, we feel it is prudent to work with families on solutions to memorialize their loved one.

In order to reduce exposure, we feel it is imperative to offer the following solutions:

  • •Encourage families to have a private service. They may choose to have a viewing, private service and burial immediately, then work with our staff to arrange for a public memorial to be held at a later date at NO additional cost.
  • •We will offer the ability for families to webcast the service through the Parker Kohl Funeral Home Facebook page, where family and friends who are unable to attend can watch and share messages of support.
  • •Family and friends may visit the obituary page at to share their condolences and view pictures or video tributes. Losing a family member is difficult, please continue to find ways to show them your support.

Our sympathies to everyone faced with hardships due to this pandemic. Together we must unite to care for one another in order to lift each other through these difficult times. We promise to care for our facilities with consistent cleaning of all public areas, offering multiple areas for hand sanitization, and guide families in the decision-making process to offer the safest solutions for everyone concerned.
