My earliest memories with Aunt Eunice were in “the burgundy colored house”.....I remember water play in her backyard and sitting in a big tin tub of bubbles. I fondly remember doing laundry in her basement with the laundry being fed into a wringer. For some reason, I loved it...and can still remember the fresh laundry smell. She warmly welcomed me in that home, and the next. Loved what she taught me in her gardens. In my college years, she came to visit Nebraska. Somehow, circumstances led to just the two of us having 3 days together. Great conversations; heartfelt memories. Tonight, my mind is replaying the scenes and sounds of Eunice playing her harmonica & singing around the campfire at Shields Lake....and it makes me smile. Rest In Peace, Aunt Eunice 🌹

I remember Eunice and her beautiful garden.  Always busy and always smiling.
She lived a good life and was fun to have around.  Enjoy HEAVEN Aunt Eunice!

Eunice was such a sweet lady.  She helped take care of my husband's mother, Alice Elzen, and she was always so kind to her and everyone that visited them.
